About

Built from what actually worked for asset-limited households

PurposeMint grew out of a community savings program, not a product roadmap. Everything in it started as something a coach did by hand for households trying to build a first cushion.

    Where PurposeMint comes from

The Conqueror Community Savings Program runs ten-week savings and coaching cohorts for asset-limited households. More than 90 households have taken part, participants have added over $10,000 in new savings, and roughly 69% started with no savings at all.

The cohorts worked while they were running. What we kept seeing was the gap between sessions — the hard week in month three with nobody in the room. PurposeMint exists to be present in that gap.

    What we hold to

    Readiness before products

A financial product offered before a household is ready usually deepens the problem it was meant to solve. PurposeMint builds the behavior first.

Savings first. Stability next. Mobility after that.

Safety, stability, readiness and mobility are sequential. Skipping a stage is how people end up borrowing at a price they cannot carry.

    Respected, not pressured

No broken-streak graphics, no guilt notifications, no penalty for a hard week. A pause holds progress instead of erasing it.

    Your money stays yours

PurposeMint does not hold or move funds. Your savings stay in the accounts you already have, and you can disconnect at any time.

    What PurposeMint is not

    • Not a bank. PurposeMint does not hold customer funds and makes no FDIC insurance claims of its own.
    • Not a lender, credit repair company or financial adviser.
    • Not a savings app, budgeting app or marketplace of financial offers.
    • PurposeMint is a separate for-profit entity operating as an initiative of Mint To Prosper Foundation.
